Jiali Wang is a passionate and accomplished musician with a wide range of experience performing as a soloist and working with other instrumentalists and composers across several musical genres.
Her infectious enthusiasm, playing with a virtuoso technique, has brought her to major concert venues in China, U.S., U.K.and Europe, including Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall (Beijing), Oxford University, Helsinki Temppeliaukio Rock Church (Finland), Malaga Opera House (Spain), Netherlands Ruïnekerk Church, Xinghai Symphony Orchestral Hall(Guangzhou), New York University Concert Hall, Xiamen Concert Hall, London Regent Hall.
Her early career highlights include her debut at the Peking University at the age of 10, by winning the Beijing Piano Festival Gold Medal which she was invited to give performance together with Lang Lang.
Jiali is the winner of the Edna Bralesford Piano Prize, Royal Academy of Music’s most prestigious music prize for awarding instrumentalists who graduating with the highest mark. She is also the first prize winner of Gershwin International Music Competition; Malaga International Piano Competition; Alion Baltic International Piano Competition, RAM Piano Duo Competition and Harbin International Piano Festival Competition.
In 2022, she won the Harriet Cohen Bach Competition in England and its special Harold Samuel Prize— for her performance success of early music. During the summer of 2024, she gave performance of Beethoven Piano Concerto No.3 with Malaga Symphony Orchestra, conducted by José Luis López-Antónand in Theatro Las Lagunas Mijas (Spain) and Royal Academy of Music Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Daniel Hogan at St.Mark’s Church (London).
According to her orchestral music achievements, she has been awarded the Best Collaboration Prize on two occasions by academy for her outstanding performances of Mozart and Beethoven Piano Concertos. She was also nominated by the Vendome Prize in 2023.
Jiali is currently studying in her master degree at Royal Academy of Music, London. She also regularly playing for well-established names such as Yevgeny Sudbin, Steven Osborne, Pascal Rogé and Adrian Brendel.
She has spent her summer at International Holland Music Session with Boris Berman; She was also a full-scholarship student at the Dartington International Music School , led by pianist Rolf Hind and keyboardist Mahan Esfahani. In Masterclasses, she has worked closely with exceptional artists such as Arie Vardi, Alexander Toradze, Fabio Bidini, Ian Hobson, Hung-Kuan Chen, Jerome Lowenthal and Oxana Yablonskaya.
Upcoming concert highlights include Jiali’s tour concerts in China, 2026 April, in which she will perform across 6 cities and last for 3 months.
